1. ImageBind by Meta

Generate and Search across dimensions!

Meta’s new AI can interact with 6 modalities together: Text, Image/Video, Audio, Depth (3D), Thermal (infrared), and inertial measurement units (IMU) for movement. This is huge because it enables cross-model retrieval. (Link)

2. Google I/O

Google search will soon show you AI generated answers

Almost 100 new products and features were launched, but AI took the spotlight. New Generative AI answers in Google search, upgraded bard powered by new PaLM-2 AI model. (link)

3. LMQL

A better way to interact with LLMs

Language Model Query Language aka LMQL combines prompts, constraints and scripting to elevate the capabilities of LLMs, resulting in improved precision, lower costs, improved accessibility and more customization. (link)

4. Expanded Context Window

Anthropic’s Chatbot upgraded the context window to 100K tokens or 75K words! This means you could upload entire book or summarize 6 hours of audio! (link)

5. OpenAI’s push on AI Regulation

Sam Altman testified before a US Senate committee pushing for regulations on AI with three key points - Setup a licensing agency, establish new safety standard and implement regular audits for compliance (link)

6. Microsoft’s AI push

Microsoft will be centrally integrating AI in Windows 11 with Copilot, assisting you with using your PC, optimizing your workflows and building new interactions with apps!

7. Adobe’s Generative AI

Adobe introduced Generative AI in photoshop that helps you edit and fill certain portions of an image using simple text instructions! (link)
