Path to AGI with AutoGPT?

What: We've all been amazed by ChatGPT, but there has been one missing link in building an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI): the software's ability to run tasks autonomously.

Enter AutoGPT, an AI agent designed to prompt GPT-4 autonomously. It has rapidly gained popularity in the last couple of weeks.

AutoGPT is simply a software that can autonomously prompt the AI. You give it a task, an end goal and it’ll re-prompt itself repeatedly to accomplish the goal.

In the first quarter of 2023, 158 AI Chatbot apps hit the app store, with more than 20 million downloads!

Between the lines: Majority of the apps are powered by OpenAI. That means, app developers are charging you money for something you can access for free in browser! 🤷🏻‍♂️
