Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft is unifying its AI-features into a new AI-assistant called Copilot. Its designed to incorporate the context and intelligence of the web, your work data and what you are doing in the moment on your PC to provide better assistance.

• Windows 11 - Basic windows apps like Paint, Photos and Snipping tool are getting smarter with AI integration. For instance, easily remove background or extract text from an image.

• Bing and Edge - Smarter browsing with personalized responses in Bing’s AI chatbot and access to OpenAI’s latest text-to-image generation tool, DALL-E 3.

• Microsoft 365 - Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are getting a major upgrade to improve productivity.

Copilot will be available as a free Windows update starting Sept. 26.

Youtube announces new AI tools for creators

Youtube announced a new suite of AI-powered tools for help creators easily create and edit content. Creator Studio can -

• Create Videos: Create AI-generated video or image backgrounds for Shorts using simple text prompts.

• Edit Videos: New Youtube Create app with video editing tools including precision editing and trimming, automatic captioning, voiceover capabilities and more.

• Dub Audios: Dub content into multiple languages in seconds, while keeping your unique voice and tone.

The new features will be available to select creators and roll out more broadly early next year.
