Google is bringing Generative AI to their Assistant

LLM powered AI models have become ubiquitous, but surprisingly, voice assistants like Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri and Google’s Assistant seem to be stuck in 2020.

However, that’s about to change according to leaked documents suggesting Google is developing a new AI-powered Assistant. Despite Amazon’s Alexa team reporting a loss of nearly $10 billion in 2022, followed by a major layoff, its working on a new version of Alexa.

Textbook publisher Pearson to launch an AI Study Buddy

The days of group study sessions are long gone; now, AI chatbots will keep you company. Pearson, a London-based textbook publishing giant, is developing a new AI-powered assistant to provide real-time, personalized support for students.

This ChatGPT-style assistant is expected to be available by the fall session, offering a personalized learning experience.
