Doctors are embracing AI for health records

Hint Health announced a new product that allows doctors to record your appointment in order to automatically generate summaries and update your health records, freeing up assistants staff from paperwork.

Health care documentation industry is ripe for disruption with big-tech jumping into the mix -

• Amazon: AWS-based HealthScribe service with HIPPA compliance.

• Microsoft: healthcare focused cloud service on Azure along with AI-powered note-taking and EmpowerMD for building ‘medical intelligence’ from conversational data.

AI-powered services ease up the administrative work by automatically updating patient’s records and flagging risks that could’ve been otherwise overlooked.

Meta Connect 2023

Meta is holding a two day “Connect” conference this week starting Sept. 27, with focus on devices and development of AI, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and mixed reality.
